New benefit coming January 2027: Carrum Health

The Board of Trustees continually look for ways to improve benefits and access to high-quality care for TeamCare members. We are excited to announce a new partnership between TeamCare and Carrum Health.

Through this partnership, TeamCare members will have access to Carrum Health’s network of Centers of Excellence providers and high-quality care services, including surgery, cancer care, and substance use treatment.

More choice for members

Carrum Health connects members with top-tier doctors and hospitals that are recognized for delivering quality care, strong clinical outcomes, and a personalized patient experience. Members who choose to use Carrum’s services will also have access to dedicated care navigation support to help guide them through their healthcare journey.

As with our other patient incentive benefits like QuestSelect, MinuteClinic, Teladoc, and US Imaging, one of the most exciting benefits of this partnership is that TeamCare is offering covered members access to high-quality services through Carrum, at $0 cost. This voluntary benefit will apply to active and retiree plans providing peace of mind to our members.

The Carrum network is not replacing the Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) network. As part of this new partnership, Carrum Health will provide TeamCare members with an additional option when seeking medical care. Members will continue to have access to their existing BCBS provider network while also gaining access to Carrum’s carefully selected network of high-quality providers for eligible services.
