Who is a member/participant/subscriber?

The primary plan holder is referred to as a member, participant, or a subscriber. Your family members, also known as dependents, are members too, but have differerent permissions on your TeamCare accounts. 

At what age can a user register an account?

Registered users must be 18 years of age to create an account.

I am currently ineligible, am I able to register?

Yes, you will be able to register up to two years from the date you no longer have eligibility with TeamCare.

What are the reasons why I may not be able to register?

There are several reasons which may prevent you from successfully registering such as: information you entered during registration does not match our records; an account already exists under your Member ID/SSN; your family has a privacy restriction on the account; we do not have your SSN on file to authenticate your account; you have not had TeamCare eligibility more than two years ago; you are under the age of 18.

If I am a member on one account and a spouse or an adult child on another account, how should I register?

No problem, you can manage both accounts by registering under each Member ID – one as the member and, using the other Member ID, register a second time for the account in which you are the spouse or adult child.

I am a member and after typing my Member ID (806 or SSN) and ZIP code I receive a login error, why?

Perhaps the information we have on file does not match what you entered. If you’ve recently updated your ZIP code with us, it may take up to a week for our systems to recognize and allow access. Or, it could be that you have not been eligible for TeamCare benefits for over two years. If you need to reestablish eligibility or these situations do not apply to you, please contact us and we’d be happy to assist you.

I forgot my password and answers to my security questions, what should I do?

Please Contact Us to have a Benefit Specialist reset your password over the phone. The security questions are security measures we take to protect your account. Once you get access, feel free to change your security questions and answers to something easy to remember.

I forgot my username, what should I do?

Select forgot your username from the login page. After we verify your identity by answering a few questions your username will be provided to you.

When will my online session expire and log me out?

For security purposes, the duration of your visit will expire after 20 minutes of inactivity.

I am a spouse or an adult child and cannot access the Pension site, why?

A spouse or an adult child only has access to TeamCare.
